After receiving formal commercial training and while working with a smaller trust company Markus Harsch first finished his extra-occupational training receiving the Federal Diploma of higher education as certified fiduciary. He then went on to gain a Swiss Federal Diploma as a fiduciary expert. In 1997 he joined Ostschweizerische Treuhand Zürich AG and was appointed partner with responsibility for the trustee area in 2008.
